ULTRASOUND 9 We're born from the ashes of the indie/rock band papalazarus!
Dave Wright and John Kirkham (aka Mr Dave & Widey) had decided set off in a new direction,writing and playing music of any type that they chose. Fed up with having to "pigeon-hole" their music into set fields they decided to experiment more and to write and play whatever evolved during their jamming sessions!
A chance e mail from Beanie asking about the position of vocalist in the band, led to a meet up and Ultrasound 9 was born!
The music is constantly evolving, mixing and matching beats and rhythms, using various guitar styles and sounds mixed with an infusion of ideas, is, and continues, to create some great songs.
Some of the "old" papalazarus tunes have been re worked and re styled to bring them into line with the sound that is ULTRASOUND 9...........
